Homage to HH Penor Rinpoche
In you I came to see the living Buddha,
O, gentle and loving, the boundless expanse!
Even a sight of you touched the hearts of beings,
As a cool breeze that dissolved ego’s hardness.
When you casted a pure field on earth,
Buddhas and Bodhisattvas filled the land of south.
Beings flocked to the land of nirvana,
Seeking the nectar of pristine Dharma.
As you turned the wheel of teaching,
Minds dissolved into wisdom expanse.
In that open space of awareness-play,
Self-expressions arose as glorious deities!
Thinking of you, opens the lotus of my heart
To the playful expanse of my own awareness!
Thy simplicity, the stainless play of pristine wisdom,
Reveals in me, the youthfulness of naked awareness!
Thy deeds for countless beings, O, the ocean of kindness,
It ripples in me as sprouts of impartial compassion!
O, Vimalamitra, the yogi of rainbow presence,
My root Guru, Pema Norbu, homage to you!
